DAY 1

Arrive in Manaus, the gateway to the Amazon Rainforest. After a private transfer to the boutique hotel Villa Amazonia, take some time to relax in its lush garden, or by the pool. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner showcasing Amazonian ingredients, before resting up for your adventure ahead. Overnight: Villa Amazonia

Edwin Duarte was top-notch. Terrific at spotting animals and sharing interesting information about Costa Rica’s history and natural life. He was thoughtful and considerate, helping us out as needed. All of the drivers were excellent. The cooking at Dona Priscilla’s house was wonderful. Zip-lining company did a super job. Resorts were awesome. Feedback is to have the meal post-Arenal Volcano visit and cooking at Priscilla’s house on different days.
